With the help of an alien organism, a man brainwashes audiences through television; a troubled high school student is determined to stop them. The Deadly Spawn is one terrific alien film that has hints of old school 1950's sci fi horror.

Something or someone is attacking people one by one on the beach. A group of troubled teenagers are led by social workers on a California wilderness retreat, not knowing that the woods they are camping in have become infested by mutated, blood-sucking ticks. When they investigate, they are attacked and eaten by a bizarre life form that emerges from the crashed rock. Four young teenagers, plus one pre-teen boy, try to find a way to stop the angry space monsters before they reproduce and literally eat humanity.
