Though it isn't boring, it is presented in a completely different way and you can draw tons of connections to the other occurrence. The characters are enjoyable and keep you reading.

Most of my dislike focused on the too-cute outlandish names and the too-detailed narratives of the main character’s daily routine. The author is Michael Hoeye and the genre is adventure. Still, she's a nice silent character and these are fun books.Apparently, I love stories about mice. My brother used to get so excited for the next chapter, he would make necklaces with letter beads (his was Hermux, mine was Tucka). I loved the first two books, "Time Stops for No Mouse" and "The Sands of Time." This book was awesome! Need another excuse to treat yourself to a new book this week? Watchmaker Hermux Tantamoq is a hardworking mouse who is thankful for ordinary things: donuts, coffee, peaceful evenings at home with his pet ladybug. She never returns to pick it up, even though it seemed to be important to her. He's the perfect main character. "Oh my! Also, i happened to find a part in the book that i very much enjoyed, and a few chapters in, it happens again! You know almost from the outset who the "damsel in distress" will be and you're already to cheer on the hero, when the plot takes a side trail.

I honestly think it can be read at any age. I read them as an adult, but thoroughly enjoyed the humor and the detail put into these books.
