You see the expense of marriage and the way it affects the parents but as it is 70 years old it wasn't super relatable to me especially since I got married in October and this isn't anything close to how my wedding went.The amount of planning that went into this wedding seemed to have been planned in a week and rushed and that didn't sit well to me and a lot of the jokes were lackluster and drawn out but I enjoyed myself enough that I would watch this again one day.I love the Steve Martin remake of this movie so I wasn't prepared to love this version. I'll still always think of the Steve Martin one, but I love Spencer Tracy in this.A cute film about a man who doesn't want to see his daughter grow up.
